Security Overview

1. Overview
Guard Boss maintains commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to support the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Platform information.
This Security Overview is informational. It does not create warranties, service levels, or contractual commitments unless expressly incorporated into a separate written agreement signed by Guard Boss.
2. Current Safeguards
Current safeguards may include:
- HTTPS and TLS encryption in transit;
- password hashing;
- administrative access restrictions for Guard Boss staff;
- environment segregation;
- regular operational backups;
- access-controlled file delivery mechanisms;
- cloud infrastructure protections;
- authentication and session-management controls.
3. Marketplace and Payment Security
Guard Boss supports merchant, storefront, checkout, transaction, refund, chargeback, and payout functionality through third-party payment infrastructure and related operational systems.
Guard Boss may use commercially reasonable fraud-prevention, transaction-review, account-protection, payment-risk, and marketplace-integrity measures. These measures may include transaction monitoring, account restrictions, payout restrictions, dispute review, refund controls, and cooperation with payment processors where appropriate.
Guard Boss does not guarantee payment approval, transaction success, payout timing, chargeback outcomes, or uninterrupted payment functionality.
4. Credential Images and Files
Uploaded credential images and files may be stored and delivered through controlled cloud-based mechanisms, including access restrictions and time-limited delivery where implemented.
5. Third-Party Infrastructure
Guard Boss relies on third-party infrastructure, hosting, storage, content delivery, communications, analytics, mapping, payment processing, and operational providers. Specific provider information may be made available during procurement or security review where appropriate.
6. Incident Response
Guard Boss maintains internal procedures designed to identify, assess, respond to, and mitigate security incidents when reasonably practicable. If legally required, Guard Boss will provide notices consistent with applicable breach-notification laws.
7. Availability
Guard Boss does not provide an uptime guarantee or service-level commitment unless separately agreed in writing.
8. No Absolute Security
No platform, network, infrastructure provider, storage system, payment system, or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Guard Boss does not guarantee absolute security, uninterrupted availability, or protection against all unauthorized activity.
9. United States Operations
The Services are intended primarily for U.S.-based users and organizations, and data may be processed or stored in the United States.
