Acceptable Use Policy
Effective Date: May 26, 2026
1. Scope
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) is incorporated into the Guard Boss Terms of Service and applies to all use of the Services. Capitalized terms have the meanings given in the Terms of Service.
2. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use the Services to:
- violate any law, regulation, rule, license requirement, court order, or third-party right;
- create, issue, upload, transmit, or rely on fraudulent, misleading, altered, unauthorized, or inaccurate Records or certificates;
- misrepresent training completion, attendance, identity, instructor authority, licensing status, permit status, or regulatory compliance;
- impersonate any person or organization;
- use another person’s account, credentials, license, permit, or identity without authorization;
- upload or distribute infringing, unlawful, deceptive, defamatory, harassing, abusive, obscene, or harmful content;
- circumvent course progression controls, testing requirements, exam affirmations, access controls, or security measures;
- assist cheating, unauthorized test taking, credential misuse, or certificate fraud;
- scrape, crawl, harvest, copy, bulk export, or extract Platform data except through authorized functionality;
- reverse engineer, decompile, interfere with, probe, scan, or test the Services without written authorization;
- introduce malware, harmful code, spam, phishing, or unauthorized automation;
- resell, sublicense, transfer, or commercialize account access except as expressly authorized;
- misuse Guard, Employer, Training Provider, credential, license, permit, certificate, or Record information;
- use Records for unlawful discrimination, unauthorized surveillance, harassment, or employment practices not permitted by law;
- operate unlawful training programs or evade regulatory obligations;
- interfere with Platform availability, integrity, security, or performance;
- use the Services to develop competing products through unauthorized benchmarking, copying, or analysis;
- engage in conduct that creates legal, regulatory, operational, security, or reputational risk for Guard Boss.
3. Merchant, Payment, and Storefront Abuse
You may not use Merchant Features, storefronts, payment functionality, connected accounts, checkout flows, or transaction systems to:
- engage in payment fraud, refund fraud, chargeback abuse, payout manipulation, money laundering, or unauthorized payment activity;
- process transactions for unauthorized, unlawful, undisclosed, or prohibited training activity;
- misrepresent course pricing, refund terms, availability, scheduling, course content, instructor authority, or provider identity;
- manipulate enrollments, transactions, refunds, payouts, disputes, or course listings;
- use storefronts for unauthorized third parties or unapproved providers;
- evade payment-processor rules, platform fees, refund obligations, tax obligations, or merchant requirements;
- submit false evidence or misleading information in a payment dispute or chargeback process.
4. Credential and Record Misuse
Misuse of Records or credential information includes accessing, using, downloading, copying, disclosing, retaining, altering, submitting, or relying on such information without authorization or for purposes outside the Services, applicable law, or the user relationship that permitted access.
5. Enforcement
Guard Boss may investigate suspected violations and may suspend, restrict, or terminate access; remove or disable content; preserve evidence; notify affected parties; reverse transactions; block accounts; restrict payouts or transactions; cooperate with law enforcement, payment processors, or regulators; and pursue civil, criminal, or equitable remedies.
Any dispute arising from enforcement of this AUP, including suspensions, restrictions, investigations, terminations, account actions, transaction actions, payment actions, access limitations, or content removals, is governed by the dispute resolution provisions contained in the Guard Boss Terms of Service.
6. Reporting Violations
Suspected violations may be reported through https://www.guardboss.com/contact.
7. Changes
Guard Boss may update this AUP at any time in accordance with the modification provisions in the Guard Boss Terms of Service. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
8. Survival
The restrictions, obligations, enforcement rights, investigation rights, intellectual-property protections, record-use restrictions, payment-abuse restrictions, merchant-abuse restrictions, confidentiality-related obligations, and dispute-resolution provisions applicable to this AUP survive suspension, deactivation, or termination of access to the Services.
