Copyright And DMCA Policy

1. Policy
Guard Boss respects intellectual property rights and responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement consistent with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) and other applicable law.
2. Designated Copyright Agent

3. Takedown Notice Requirements
To submit a DMCA notice, provide a written notice containing:
- identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed;
- identification of the allegedly infringing material and information reasonably sufficient to locate it;
- your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or law;
- a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the copyright owner;
- your physical or electronic signature.
4. Counter-Notice Requirements
If content is removed or disabled in response to a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was mistaken, you may submit a counter-notice containing:
- identification of the removed material and its prior location;
- your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
- a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification;
- a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your judicial district, or if outside the United States, the federal courts located in Wyoming, and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or that person’s agent;
- your physical or electronic signature.
5. Repeat Infringers
Guard Boss may terminate or restrict accounts of users determined to be repeat infringers or who repeatedly submit infringing content.
6. Misrepresentations
Submitting false or misleading DMCA notices or counter-notices may result in liability under applicable law.
