This course is designed to train you in the safe, effective, and lawful use of chemical agents while emphasizing professionalism, liability prevention, and de-escalation techniques.

If you already have your California Guard Card, this 32-Hour BSIS Continuing Education Bundle provides the mandatory security guard training required by BSIS during your first year of registration. This online training package is designed to help California security officers stay compliant, improve job performance, and build practical skills used in the field every day.

This bundle includes the four BSIS-required continuing education courses:

• Public Relations and Professionalism
• Observation and Documentation
• Communication and Conflict Resolution
• Liability and Legal Aspects

In addition, you’ll complete four career-focused elective security training courses selected to provide hands-on knowledge for real-world security operations:

• Evacuation and Emergency Procedures
• Crowd Safety and CareTrespass
• Courtroom Demeanor

Throughout this program, you’ll strengthen essential security officer skills including incident response, report writing, de-escalation techniques, legal compliance, emergency preparedness, and professional courtroom conduct.

Upon completion, you will satisfy the 32-hour BSIS continuing education requirement while gaining the confidence and training needed to perform effectively in a wide range of private security assignments throughout California.
